The first cat meows. It gets food.

US Dollar Note

Lately I got a picture of 1-dollar US note from a friend. It is cynical somehow. Immediately I connected to my memory about a video projection work called "The White House" by Jeon Joonho, a Korean artist who synchronizes the image of an US 20-dollar note with an image of a person erasing and whitewashing all the windows of the White House aiming to provide a sarcastic gesture to criticize the American imperialism and its global influence with the contradictory and hypocritical attitude towards equality and human rights of the White House; further Jeon stamps his ardent Korean nationalism on icons of US political history that "in small sense, we would like to erase our tragic history by USA; in a broad sense, we would like to make new country where is not affected by powerful countries."
